Una Mullholland


Born in 1973, she grew up in Ballymena, Northern Ireland.
For two years, she studied Fine Art Printmaking in Limerick College of Art.
Graduated, after three years from Belfast Institute of Art with a HND in Visual Communications.
She worked for a year in Belfast as a graphic designer before moving to Dublin where she worked for a further six years as a graphic designer.
She was introduced to the Mische painting technique by the late great visionary artist, Robert Venosa
She attended three of his workshops in Cadaqués.

This technique features prominently in all my works which mainly consist of female portraits, using oils on canvas.
She finally moved to Cadaqués in 2006 where she lives and paint today.
